Today was the 4th Annual I Love Food and Wine Event. It's an amazing fundraiser for the Ollie Hinkle Foundation put on by our friends Jenn and Mark Hinkle. Five years ago this month their son Ollie was born. His life on Earth was a brief 13 months but his presence lives on. Mark and Jenn turned their grief into outreach and love. I'm thankful for the gift of God's ability to turn our heartache into good. I'll never, ever believe God allows bad things to happen but I do believe He's right there with us when bad things do happen. Mark and Jenn are my proof of this.
